Galatians 5: 22-23
But the Spirit produces love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, humility, and self-control. There is no law against such things as these.

Reflection:
We can sometimes feel bombarded with romantic imagery – some positive and helpful – some negative and harmful. Well, love does make the world go around as many love songs can testify. This kind of love is physical love. Eros.
God’s love – Agape love – is a selfless love and, no matter what the world may try to tell us, God’s love is the foundation for all other loves.
In the following video, The Father’s Love Letter, you will hear about God’s everlasting love that in Jesus, God’s love for us is revealed as thee ultimate expression of love. Nothing can ever separate us from this love. Ever. Perhaps its time to reclaim that love for ourselves.
Prayer: Let us pray for one another.
Heavenly Father,
The ultimate expression of your love was in giving Your Son Jesus to us and, there are many who reflect Your creative love where people can find fulfilment in You.
Where once this was a Christian country, known for its Christian values, for many, there is no longer a special day to worship you. We pray for your church, once the centre of people’s lives, where many came to a living faith in Christ and pray for an outpouring of Your love upon all of Your people.
There are some who feel unhappy with their life as it is.
There are some, so alone, who think that they no longer matter.
There are some who feel that the whole world is against them.
There are others still to discover Your love for them.
We ask, Lord, that Your love, mercy and grace be sufficient for all their needs. Amen

Above you, below you, before you, behind you, may peace be all around you.
