As of January 2020, the church is sadly again closed for worship. We will update as soon as there is any change in the situation, in the meantime worship will be livestreamed through our YouTube channel, Facebook page and on this website.

Services are held on Sundays at 10.30am and 3pm. Anyone attending must call in advance on 01383 727987 as numbers are limited. Masks must be worn unless you are exempt, and social distancing must be observed at all times. A one-way system is in operation and names and contact details will be taken for track and trace purposes.
All other groups are still unfortunately suspended.

CHURCH NOTICE 17 MARCH 2020
FOR THE COMMUNITY OF ABBEYVIEW
TOGETHER WE MAKE A DIFFERENCE
COVID-19 is rightly on all our minds with significant impact. Some of us may be suffering from the virus, or have loved ones who are suffering from it, or even have lost loved ones to it.
The unpredictability of life, the stress of people isolating themselves at home, and social distancing are increasing anxiety for many.
During these dramatic changes, some extraordinary decisions have had to be made. We have been advised that all group meetings in this church, including Sunday services of worship have been suspended until further notice.
Friends, the present may seem distressing and the future may seem daunting but, we are not without resources that can help us so that we can offer support to others which could help them cope.
By adapting as a community, we can be resilient and innovative, finding to new routines on how to fill our days.
The Elders from St. Ninian’s will meet soon to discuss an action plan for the people of Abbeyview. These are unprecedented times but with vigilance, hope, prayer and determination, together we will come through these current challenges.
We will update our website and Facebook page in accordance with the guidelines from the Church of Scotland when we have more information so be sure to keep neighbours up to date, as not everyone uses social media.
Daily pause for thought 9am and 9pm:
Above us,
below us,
before us,
behind us,
may peace
be all around us.
