So Jesus answered and said to him “What do you want me to do for you”. The blind man said to him, “Rabboni, that I may receive my sight.”
Mark 10:51
What would you like Jesus to do for you?
Recently, a member of our congregation decided to share his story of when he asked Jesus to come into his life and transform it.
“I can’t recall exactly when, but the minute I prayed the prayer of salvation it was like peace flooding into me, drying my tears and I fell asleep. Not to hang dirty washing out, but my life was messy. I knew I had to change but couldn’t.
"No one could ever tell me there was no God. I knew there was and looking back I had conversations with him, but he was this super power, faraway. I always thought I was a decent person; I just did wrong things. Well, as I said earlier, my life was messy. I needed to change but could not, until that night. I woke up the next day and didn’t remember a thing.
"But over the next couple of days my life started to change. I would hear this voice deep inside me talking to me and I experienced a love for people I could not explain. I couldn’t get over the excitement that it was all true, the Bible stories I’d heard when I was younger. Jesus was real and He’s in me by the Holy Spirit. My desires were changing. A new hunger to study the Bible and guides. I would have two to four books going at any one time, reading a chapter of each and dwelling on what it was saying before I would move on.”
I now invite you to sit down and let the following music minister to you:

“I was blind (spiritually) but now I can see. Folks, if we cannot locate the time that we were born-again, we don’t know Jesus as our Saviour. We are still separated from God, a dangerous place to be. Time as we know, it is running out, the end times is upon us. God is waiting on us to ask his Son, Jesus, into our hearts by faith and to receive the Holy Spirit.
"We cannot earn it, cannot buy it, we will never be good enough. The Father made a Covenant with his Son and sealed it by his blood. It’s that simple, it’s a free gift. I love to tell people about Jesus, it’s a gift He’s put into my heart. I can do nothing without the Holy Spirit to help me.”
Folks, many people die every minute across the world. If they do not know Jesus in their heart, they will be lost for eternity. We should be telling people of this great message. The GOOD NEWS. Please exam yourself and if in doubt pray this prayer of salvation:
Father God,
I come to you realising I’m a sinner and I believe the message of the cross, where Jesus paid the price for me, was buried and then was raised to life three days later. I now ask you to come into my heart Jesus and forgive me. Thank you. I now ask you to fill me with the Holy Spirit by faith. In Jesus name I ask.
Welcome to the family.
Remember
Jesus is Lord
