PSALM 145:10-13
All your creatures, LORD, will praise you, and all your people will give you thanks. They will speak of the glory of your royal power and tell of your might, so that everyone will know your mighty deeds and the glorious majesty of your kingdom. Your rule is eternal, and you are king for ever. Amen
God’s Glorious majesty. Do we really seek this?
If so, we will have to be ready to change. It won’t be easy, for when the Holy Spirit comes in mighty manifestation, our weakness or sin becomes more apparent. But the Good News is we do not come under condemnation because God loves us and so, we confess and approach him with confidence. He will only chastise us for our own good and only by the Spirit and Word, not with sickness and loss and problems so get that thinking out of your mind totally! It’s the devil that comes to steal, kill and destroy.
We should be looking for God’s presence at every opportunity. In the old Covenant it only happened a few times. But guess what? We have a better Covenant, based on better promises. The old only covered sin, in the new, Jesus bore it away, totally removed it. So, we can come boldly to the throne through His blood on the mercy seat in heaven.
After God flooded the earth and started again with Noah’s family, God promised He wouldn’t do it again, famously by setting a rainbow in the sky as a symbol. But He promised something else. Whilst the earth remained; seed time and harvest will never cease.
The Kingdom of God constantly refers to sowing and reaping a harvest, and when you think of it God sowed His Son Jesus into the earth, who died and was raised again, and then He reaps the harvest of the Church.
The following songs I have chosen are to hopefully bring you into the presence of God. But as always you have a choice. In the Old Covenant God said, “I set before you life and death, blessing and cursing, therefore choose life, so that all will be well with you and your seed”. I can’t force you. God can’t force you. You can say I don’t like that band, that group, bla, bla, bla, etc. and miss the whole experience. I truly ask give it a go. Taste and see that the Lord is good and is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him.
Set yourself aside where you cannot be disturbed; switch the phone on silent or off. Turn up the volume, sing from your heart. The songs repeat the words often enough to learn them. You can also ask for lyrics, if you click on the rectangle in the bottom right corner. Come let’s worship the Lord, let’s exalt his Name together.
May God bless us all greatly.
If you have never accepted Jesus your Lord and Saviour, say this simple prayer:
Father God, I come to you, believing that Jesus died for me and on the third day rose from the dead, come into my heart and forgive me, I give my life to you. I ask now that you fill me with your Holy Spirit. In Jesus name I ask.
Welcome to the family
Remember
JESUS IS LORD
